Wow, I have been a bad mommy blogger! I keep meaning to sit down & write, but things always come up. Life happens, I suppose.
Things are pretty hectic around here, as usual. Nothing too crazy just the normal day to day things that come with having a 10 month old. 10 months already??? I honestly don't know where the time goes. It seems like just yesterday Rick & I were walking through the front door after leaving the hospital & showing Hannah around her new home.
Well, we've been hitting milestones like crazy. Hannah is cruising pretty well now & she crawls all around like it's nothing. Before too long, she's going to be quicker than the cats, they'll just love that! She also waves all the time, this includes waving to our cats, me, daddy, grandma's, anyone who walks in our front door, the trees outside and pretty much anyone in a public place who will look at her. It seems to me that I'm going to have quite the social butterfly, not too much unlike her mama in that area. She recently started patty cake on her own as well, it's so cute! It's a rather recent development as of late last week. She has one of those plastic books that plays music, teaches, etc. and it has patty cake as one of the songs. Well, she was looking at it & patty cake started and that little cutie started clapping to it. This has also turned into her clapping at everything and I of course have to clap right along with her, also adorable! "So big" is a big hit around here too and when Hannah does it, she has to put her hands together every time before she'll lift them over her head. So, when you ask her "How big is Hannah?" she has to stop & like concentrate to put her hands together and put them up over her head. I'm telling you, this age is way too much fun!
We have also had many teeth breaking through lately. As of tonight Hannah has 7 teeth that have broken the gum line & one more on it's way. She has been such a little trooper about the whole thing too! Don't get me wrong, we've had our share of a few rough days, but for the most part they really don't seem to bother her all that much. We've gone from getting her first tooth at 7 months to at 10 months having 7 almost 8 teeth, it's amazing!
I've also been busy planning her birthday party, but I'll save that for a later post as there's a whole lot of stuff to talk about on that topic!

Good Job Hannah!!!! 7 teeth - oh my :)
ReplyDeleteI swear she knew that I was saying that she hasn't seemed bothered by them because the next day & the few following were pure hell! She's doing much better now, but we had a rough few days around here.
